Future Fund's first Subcommittee Night of 2025 will be on February 20th from 5:00pm-6:30pm. This is members only. Members can network from 5:00pm-5:30pm before we breakout into our committee meetings from 5:30pm-6:30pm.

We're hosting our 2025 FF Open House on February 6th from 5:30pm- 7pm at CFGG. This is a chance for all members or the public to come and learn more about Future Fund and how to get involved.

A group of young (22-40ish) professionals who are investing their time, energy and a few dollars into making Greensboro AWESOME.

Started in 1999 by a group of community-minded, forward-thinking young professionals, the Future Fund is a pipeline for Greensboro’s next generation of philanthropic leaders.  This initiative of The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro gives members the chance to become part of something bigger than themselves while making their city a great place to live, work and play.  Active members plan and produce the innovative Future Fund Program to award over $50,000 to local nonprofits.

Future Fund members, better known as Future Funders, gain experience in personal philanthropy and grantmaking through their work on various subcommittees to plan programs and events.  They tap into opportunities for leadership experience, mentoring, and developing new skills.

Each dollar in this permanent field of interest endowment is invested for growth, ensuring the fund will exist in perpetuity for generations of young professionals to come.

Each year, Greensboro's young professional organizations throw a networking party for YPs to mix, mingle, and connect. We are excited to announce that YP On Tap will take place at a Greensboro Grasshoppers Thirsty Thursday game on August 11th in the Sunbrella section! Come out to meet new connections and enjoy Thirsty Thursday at the Grasshoppers ($1 soda, $1 water, $2 domestic and $3 craft).

The first 100 young professionals to register through eventbrite will receive a free ticket to the baseball game!

The gates will open at 5:30pm especially for this event! When you arrive at the ballpark, head over to the Sunbrella Shade Zone (in left field near the grandstand bar). Each YP organization will have a table for you to visit and learn more about how to get involved. Attendees who visit each organization's table will be entered to win a raffle prize! Once you've checked out all the organizations, hang around the Sunbrella Shade Zone to continue networking and enjoying the game!
